THE trailer for the much-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice dropped last week, offering fans their first good look at the cinematic meeting of the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight.
The Zack Snyder-directed film, which puts Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the anatomically correct neoprene outfits, will not be released until 2016.
The trailer sets a dark tone, with an abundance of rain, an emerging picture of the human race turning on Superman, and heavy use of the Inception horn.
Puncturing its pompous pretensions, Bobby Brown posted a recut version of the trailer on his YouTube feed last Friday. It’s already clocked up more than half a million views.
The recut version of the trailer retains the audio track of the original, but combines it with some dramatic footage of Christopher Reeve in Superman (1978) ... and some utterly ridiculous moments featuring Adam West in Batman: The Movie (1966).
It’s too good not to share.
